Populærvitenskapelig sammendrag

Our main prerogative is to establish a framework for teachers to facilitate learning processes, with emphasis on creative, collaborative and explorative ways of learning applying digital tools and strategies. We seek to connect teaching practices, an explorative approach and research potentials in the context of this project.

We wish to contribute to the existing didactic approach concerning using digital tools, and to develop new innovative and creative working methods with focus on aesthetic perspectives and collaboration.

Vitenskapelig sammendrag

The framework of this project aims at providing a space for reflections on the potential and pitfalls of educational use of digital tools, in the context of meaning making and creativity rather than the technology itself.  At this point, we have limited our theoretical and methodical perspectives to include aesthetic learning processes, sociocultural- and phenomenological- theories, as well as OECDs definitions of the 21. Century skills. 

Metode

The project is an ongoing interdisciplinary collaboration with the aim to facilitate an aesthetic learning process through exploring analogue and digital tools and working methods in technology fluid environments, through a series of workshops. The participants are students from the Teacher Education Programme at USN, both Kindergarden as well as Elementary School. 

The workshops consist of a fictional framing, explored by the students, working  in groups. The groups have to solve digital or technological tasks, as well as tasks including analog modeling, designing and bodily exploring of the environment. The solutions to the tasks provides new clues that will lead to aesthetic exploration and creative processes, both digital and analog. As conslusion to the whole process an interactive presentation of interweaved analog and digital expressions wil be created. 

Each workshop is evaluated.
