Sammendrag
The Knowledge Promotion Reform was introduced in 2006. In the curriculum for
the subject Food and Health, entrepreneurship is part of the main subject area
Food and Consumption. Competence aims in the subject require the pupils to
develop, produce, prepare product information and advertise for a product.
Students in Food and Health at the University of Agder, get an introduction to
entrepreneurship and an assignment where they have to show entrepreneurship.
They may also choose to run a student enterprise as part of their exam.
For six years, we have been running entrepreneurship as a development project,
now we have launched a research project: Entrepreneurship through Student
Enterprise. Our main aim is to examine what use this experience has been for
the students.
Our research builds on written exams, oral presentations and extensive
observations of student activities and questionnaires. Entrepreneurship gives
creative and active students, who take responsibility for their own learning.
They acquire professional knowledge, learn cooperation and problem solving.
These results coincide with the results of other researchers.
