Development of T memory cells is crucial for the efficacy of vaccines against intracellular targets, such as viruses. Moreover, abberant differentiation of memory T cells have been proposed to be involved in development and maintenance of autoimmune disease. In this project we will analyse how molecular interactions relevant for T cell activation also affect differentiation of memory T cells.
