RDC Technical and Vocational Teacher Education (TVTE)

The RDC aim is to provide a platform for discussion amongst teacher educators, teachers and researchers interested in technical and vocational teacher education (TVTE). The main objective is to share professional experiences concerning TVTE, to reflect on teacher practices as well as to develop international research networks. This RDC intends also to provide an opportunity to exchange research findings about the didactics and pedagogy of technical and vocational education in the school sector and in the work life. Another important focus in the RDC is to have a space for discussions about the relationship and collaborations between these two sectors. Knowledge about content, adequate working methods and solid understanding of the context in which technical and vocational teacher education takes place, at local, national an international levels needs to be developed within TVTE. This RDC welcomes participants interested in reflecting exchanging and developing knowledge on theory and practice of TVTE.
