The main evaluation methods:
1. Diagnostic pre- and post-tests (concept inventories)
i.The pre-test at the beginning of the semester will serve as a base-line of student knowledge.
ii.The post-test will enable identification of student learning during the semester by comparison with the pre-test.
2. Recording attendance
i.Using digital tools to record attendance (fall 2015).
ii.Identify total drop-out-rate after the resit-exam.
3. Student course evaluation with some common questions
i. A selection of 5-point Likert scale questions and some open questions will be common to all student course evaluations. Some questions may be sourced from the Course Experience Questionnaire developed by Østfold University College.
