Aim of collaboration
The aim of this collaboration is to improve health through better nutrition in Nyenga area by training, research and capacity building involving all partners.
Objectives
- Investigate and interpret the current nutritional status of users of the Nyenga Centre facilities (priority for placement 1)
- Through a participatory approach suggest target interventions for enhanced nutritional status (priority for placement 1)
- Plan pilot testing of nutrition interventions (priority for placement 2)
- Pilot test suggested interventions (priority for placement 2)
- Increase local capacities for the students of MakSPH, for the Nyenga Centre staff and partners in this agreement (placement 1 and 2)
- Mobilize stakeholders for sustainable interventions (placement 1 and 2)
- Apply for joint funding for teaching and research activities (all)
