This project is based on data from The Norwegian Mother and Child Cohort Study (MoBa), an ongoing longitudinal observational prospective cohort study including more than 100 000 pregnant women and their children. Use of dietary supplement among MoBa mothers has been described previously, but little is known about the use of recommended and non-recommended supplements among their children. Information about the child’s use of dietary supplements is collected from questionnaires answered at child’s age 6 and 18 months, and at 3, 5, 7, and 8 years. We will describe the child’s intake of supplements and related determinants, including maternal sociodemographic factors such as age, parity, BMI, and socioeconomic status.
