The project “Management practice in the context of global value chains” gives the opportunity to students at Nord University Business School to further develop their problem-solving skills in an intercultural environment, exposing them to the complexity of global value chains in sectors that connect Brazilian companies and public organizations with the international trade (agri-food, new technology-based firms, education, among others). During the two-year project period, an expected number of 10 students will participate in credit-yielding internships in the States of Rio Grande do Sul and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
The project will rely in activities as course development, mobility of students and staff. This project motivates educational upgrading in the Bachelor in Business Administration and the M.Sc. in Business at Nord University Business School, as they will benefit of two new courses developed as result of
this project. The two new courses will enhance the problem-oriented aimed learning goals of both programs. During the two-month internship the students will prepare a project report to be assessed as part of his study program requirements to receive credits.
