The research project is a qualitative study of how pedagogical work with music is done in Japanese Kindergartens. The focus is on cultural heritage in a globalized world. In the project we want to investigate to which extent the educational staff is concerned with Japanese music culture in the Kindergarten’s musical repertoire and to which extent they include more recent popular music.
