Sammendrag
The purpose of his study was to examine the impact of a two-week intensive teaching module on Discipleship and Cultures in a relatively diverse student body at Oslo International Bible School. The study took its starting point in the perceived need for a common understanding of discipleship among the students since the students came from a variety of backgrounds culturally, denominationally, educationally, and so on. The study used a pretest - posttest non-equivalent control group design to test the population where half the students were randomly sampled to be part of the treatment group, receiving the treatment, and the other half doing another project in the school during the same time. Both groups were tested before and after the teaching of the course, using a questionnaire. The study sought to discover if the teaching course would affect the participating students' awareness of central cross-cultural discipleship principles, in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor (behavioral) domains of learning.
