What happens when a head of state apologizes for past misdeeds on behalf of a whole nation? In this episode of The Four Speeches we look at the Apology to the Stolen Generations from 2008 by newly elected Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, and other similar apologies. Rudd`s formal apology to Australia`s Indigenous peoples was directed particularly to those who had been the victim of past government policies of forced child removal and assimilation.
