Sammendrag
The chapter focuses on how social entrepreneurs engage in collaboration with local welfare providers - municipalities in a Norwegian context. Through analysis of case study data from two social ventures, which is interpreted via the lens of Michel de Certeau's practice theory, the study reveals the micro-practices employed by social entrepreneurs to enact the context for collaboration. Although social entrepreneurs are expected to fit in with the 'rules of the game' when approaching municipalities for collaboration, the findings demonstrate that they artfully play around with these structures to actualize new practices. By mobilizing notions of strategy and tactics from de Certeau's practice theory, this study advances our understanding of how social entrepreneurs deal with settings featured by dominant orders.
