Dr.Liang Zhao is a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Agder (UiA), School of Business and Law in Norway. He holds a Ph.D. from Amsterdam Business School, University of Amsterdam. He is also a research fellow of China’s Public Sector Economy Research Center (CPSERC) and China-Israel Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (CIEIC) at Jilin University in China. In addition, he is an affiliate researcher at the Cambridge University Center for Alternative Finance. Dr. Liang is also a guest speaker for European Crowdfunding Network (ECN) and member of European Center for Alternative Finance (ECAF). Dr. Liang studies innovation and entrepreneurship, with a special emphasis on reward-based crowdfunding. His research interests include the interactive mechanism of crowdfunding platforms, backers, and entrepreneurs; e-trust and backer behavior; crowdfunding community formation and success factors of crowdfunding campaigns. His research output includes journal articles, book chapters and industry reports. Besides, He also writes popular articles for global FinTech web media such as Crowdfund Insider and INVYO Insights.
