Sammendrag
I am a trained historian, defending my PhD thesis at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Faculty of Humanities, in 2016. The topic of my dissertation was "The Holocaust in the Norwegian collective memory after 1945". Formerly, I have worked at The Falstad Centre (2000-2017) and Nord University (2017-2021), hence using the discipline both in the museum sector and teacher training. My background from Falstad has provided me with many encounters between history, memory studies, cultural heritage management and social science didactics. I have published books and articles within these academic fields in both Norwegian and English. CUrrently, I am involved in three research projects on South Saami Memory Culture, cultural representations of the Holocaust and Norwegian-Jewish Migration History. I also work within the field of Norwegian and International Boarding School History.
