Monica Miscali

Monica Miscali completed her PhD in history at the European University Institute in Florence in 2001 and she was a postdoctoral researcher in economic history at the University of Genève. Later she worked as a teaching fellow at the University of Bath (UK) were she taught Italian political history. She has worked as associate professor at the University of Stavanger where she taught several courses in Norwegian history. In the last couple of years she has been working as an associate professor in the Italian department (Department of Literature, Areas studies and European Languages) at the University of Oslo. Monica Miscali has conducted research in the fields of social history, labour history, gender history and migration history.
