Contemporary dance is a collective term is used broadly. This project aims to investigate and document a wide selection of the methodologies, practices, and ways of teaching, within the contemporary dance field today. In collaboration with the artists who are the driving forces of their respective practices, the project aims to contribute to a more open culture of sharing, pulling through threads of knowledge to understand lineages, and give a broader understanding of the complexity of the art form and how it is taught.
