Technology in a multicultural and Global Society

This anthology consists of seven contributions from scholars who are doing research in the field of communiccation and information technology. Some of the problems being raised and discussed are related to the technology itself, while others are concerned with sociological, philosophical or ethical considerations. The empirically based examples discussed in this volume are truly global in scope, ranging from the USA, Denmark, Norway, the netherlands, Saudi Arabia to China. The authors themselves also come from different parts of the globe: the USA, Europe, (Scandinavia), and China.
