A story of biological networks

Systems biology is an interdisciplinary research field with a focus on developing quantitative methods to predict phenotypes of biological systems, such as the behavior of cells, tissues and organisms. For such a lofty goal to be achieved, it is necessary to focus on complex interactions -- the networks -- within a biological system of interest. In this presentation, I will present key results from network biology studies conducted in my lab, ranging from analysis of gene-expression systems to metabolic networks.
