Hydrodynamic parameters for a floating WEC force-reacting against a submerged body

Sammendrag

Numerical results for hydrodynamical parameters are obtained by using the computer code ©AQUADYN-2.1, which uses a mixed source-dipole distribution. Results are already now available for sharp-edged bodies, truncated vertical cylinders. (The submerged body, which has a rather small vertical extension, is more appropriately described as a circular plate, than as a vertical cylinder.) At the event of the conference it is hoped that numerical results are available also for smooth-curved (not sharp-edged) bodies.
