Sammendrag
The work titled 'Third Encounters' is a pedagogical research project for mapping, reflecting and projecting teaching and learning environments in art & design. The research objective is to explore what the contemporary discourse in higher education sector concerning about the '21st century skills' would imply in our context, and what could be the imaginable consequences for our pedagogical practices. The research methods are both investigative in to the relevant texts and theories, and also action-research as applying the spatial and pedagogical practices. The project is conducted in two phases, and this 'scene 1' is considered as research material for the second phase; 'chapter 2'.
