Industrial Ecology and Decisionmaking

Industrial Ecology must be understood and analyzed as a process and social system, taking into account all the identifiable components ofdecisionmaking. It must also be based on a proper identification of all the relevant actors, their interest and institutional agendas. Special attention is given to the phenomenon of the "disappearing decision" and on the need for implementing systems thinking in the IEprocess and learning experience.
