V-Dichotomy of Passive Non-affine Nonlinear Systems

The method of the invariant set stabilization for non-affine nonlinea r passive system is proposed. New important notion, weak V-detectabil ity of nonlinear system, is introduced. It is shown that this notion plays the fundamental role in the problem of the invariant set stabi lization of nonlinear system. Conditions implying the weak V-detectab ility of passive nonlinear system is obtained.
