Special Issue Call for Papers from The Arctic & North Journal

This Special Issue proposes to further advance our understanding of the Arctic. We strongly believe that, for the academic community, it is essential to continue thought-provoking empirical and theoretical work concerning socio-economic development in the High North. We therefore appreciate every manuscript whose authors make an assiduous endeavor to deal with the crucial aspects of long-term development in the Arctic. That said, possible themes that could be addressed in submissions to the Special Issue encapsulate, but are not circumscribed by the following: • Monitoring the socio-economic development • Sustainable development • Human capital • Logistics & infrastructure projects • Digitalization & information technologies • Business to Business in the Arctic. Noteworthily, the research themes above are only indicative. Papers outside these areas with relevance to gaining a clearer understanding of the socio-economic development in the Arctic are welcome.
