Potential e-Navigation services

The aim is for this presentation to explore the different e-Navigation services that could be supported by a marine radiobeacon communication system. Looking back at what was the aim we had when starting the e-avigation work, what have we achieve so far and what lies ahead of us? There will be some speculation from my vantage point of what could be expected of the future. The take away from this speculation will be: expect more traffic and less available water to sail in leading to a more constrained traffic situation. Paired with autonomous vessels, more extreme weather and an increasingly rogue environment we will be facing challenges where reliable PNT will be a cornerstone.
