Fast determination of cobalt traces in steel by atomic absorption spectrometry with electrothermal atomization

Sammendrag

A method for cobalt trace determination in cast iron, steel, and alloyed steel is described. The method is very fast and is suitable for the control of steel production, enabling the measurement of cobalt content in the range of 0.001-0.02 %.
