The impact of climate change on UN Peacekeeping operations

The UN has also been involved in a campaign over the last decade to reduce the carbon footprint of its peace operations. This seminar considered the new challenges posed by climate change for peace and security, the impact of climate change on UN peacekeeping operations, and what India’s own experiences has been with climate change in the peacekeeping operations it has contributed too. The event is hosted by the United Service Institution of India, the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) and the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).
