This article scrutinizes the implications of climate change on Arctic maritime preparedness and associated risks, given the escalating human activity and emerging shipping routes. Focusing on Norway, it employs discourse analysis to examine governmental discourse and concrete actions concerning climate change risks for maritime transportation. The research seeks to understand Norway's response to climate-induced risks in Arctic navigation and coastal waters by analyzing key governmental policies. Outcomes aim to elucidate the prevailing themes influencing perceptions around climate change, providing valuable insights for broader Arctic maritime territories.
