Expertise in Action: Developing AI-Driven Solutions with Interdisciplinary Collaboration

In this presentation, Kerstin Bach will delve into her recent work on developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems using the methodology of Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) in the healthcare field. As interdisciplinary teams become increasingly common in the development of AI, understanding the underlying methods is crucial for creating applications that meet expectations and can be easily explained to domain experts. Bach will discuss how her team utilized CBR to combine data-driven and knowledge-driven approaches in creating AI-driven eHealth applications for patients and decision support tools for clinicians.
