The EU AI Act: A Realtime Experiment to Regulating Generative AI

This short piece explores the EU’s ongoing efforts to regulate generative AI. It examines how the EU has taken the lead in legislative endeavours regarding AI, why we must embed flexibility into laws regarding AI, what proactive measures can be taken for the future, and more. The essay is part of the Co-Designing Generative Futures series on Medium, curated by the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.
