ZOOTRON. Zoological database of Trondheim

The Museum Database (ZOOTRON) has been elaborated by Marc Daverdin in collaboration with the researchers at NTNU Vitenskapsmuseet. It is compatible both for storing biological materials into the collection and registering zoological observations. The database structure, constructed on a multiple relational databases, handles zoogeographical and ecological data. The conception of the database started since July 1996.
