Sammendrag
Stolmasundet bridge is a segmentally cast cantilever bridge with mainspan width 301 m. For this type of bridge, this is the longest span width so far. The middle part of the mainspan is constructed in lightweight aggregate concrete (LC60), while the remaining part is constructed in normal density concrete (C65). The analysis is performed using the module "Phased analysis" in the general finite element program system Diana. The bridge is modelled by I-shaped beamelements. The solution method for the longtime analysis is line ar viscoelast icity for aging materials, and the 1990 Model Code is usedto predict creep and shrinkage. The largest calculated deflection is 779 mm, and the contributions from theselfweight andthe prestressingare approximately 1300 and 500 mm. By comparisons made by Instanes A/S, it is shown that the present results are in good agreement with the results obt ained by COBE, which is the special purpose program ofthe Directorate of roads.
