Sammendrag

The debate about reproductive technologies interferes with several of our conceptual distinctions, and most basically the one between nature and culture. This includes the understanding of reproduction as natural, biological processes and the body as a product of nature. And since the process of reproduction is foundational to the conception of sexual difference, in the sense that the ability to conceive and give birth to children is what distinguishes woman from man, reproductive technologies also interfere with the understanding of sexual difference.
