Biorational Plant Growth: The effect of plant biochemical regulators on strawberry plant production in field trials with drip irrigation at 5 locations in Mid-Norway - Annual Report 1999

Annual Report for HYDRO Agri ASA -------------------------------- As a continuation of strawberry field and greenhouse trials in the period 1996-98, strawberry field experiments were carried out at 5 different field locations in Mid-Norway under drip irrigation management. The test included trials at the Trondheim field and 2 other fields at Strand (Sør-Trøndelag county) and at Ask on Askøy (Hordaland county) which were already established in 1998. Additionally, 2 new large-scale trial fields at Lensvik (Sør-Trøndelag county) and Tornes (Møre- and Romsdal county) were established with financial support from the respective regional agricultural divisions in 1999, to extend the project by testing plant biochemical regulators under conventional cultivation conditions. The experimental work focused on testing of different cultivars ('Korona', 'Bounty' and 'Polka') and 5 different preparates by drip irrigation application. The same plant biochemical regulators which already had been tested in the trial year 1998, were applied.
