Sammendrag

Concentrations of 48 elements in the ground growing mosses Hylocomium splendens and Pleurozium schreberi have been compared with wet deposition dat for the same elements at 13 Norw egian sites. Regression equations for transforming moss concentration data to absolute deposition rates have been calculated for those elements which are of interest from a pollution point of view. No variations were observed in the concentrations of the studied elements during the sampling season.
