Tittel
Many Small Catastrophes: Gradualism in a Microparametric Perspective
Sammendrag
Against the background of the loss of V2 in English, this paper considers microvariation in wh-questions in present-day Norwegian dialects, arguing that it reflects a diachronic change in progress. Within a cue-based approach to acquisition and change, gradual diachronic development is considered to represent many small I-language changes in succession.
