Teaching children to read, write and work with mathematic using aesthetic subjects and fieldwork

Sammendrag

My presentation is based on work with the subject ¿Speaking, reading and writing on aesthetic grounds¿, which we teach at Nesna University College. Creativity and aesthetic sense contributes to every child's ability to learn. Working with aesthetic subjects as art, creative writing, music and drama is about seeing, listening, telling, writing, reading, speaking, creating, painting, calculating, counting, using shapes, figures, rhythm, singing and language. In our work we also use field-work as a natural learning-arena.
