Sammendrag

Students are generally fascinated by the opportunities that different theoretical perspectives offer to cast light on cross sections of an organization's reality. However, when it comes to gender many students find the perspectives provoking. The paper suggests using a semi-structured questionnaire as a staring point for teaching management students organizational theory in a gender perspective. The purpose of the questionnaire is to prepare the students individually to reflect over the gender issue in quite concrete terms when they answer the questionnaire and argue for the chosen alternative. The data are prepared for a collective interpretation and reflection among studetns in the classroom. The basis is made for further theoretical reflection connected to the question: Why is it necessary to gender organizational theory and analysis?
