Rapporten er en publikajson i EU-prosjektet QUIS - Quality, Iteroperability and Standards in e-learning, som er en del av EUs e-Leraning Programme. Rapporten ser på kostandseffektivitet i e-læring i perspektivet til studenten, opplæringsleverandøren og samfunnet. Rapporten er et resultat av en litteraturstudie med utgangspunkt i rapporter, artikler og andre publikasjoner innen fagområdet e-læring og økonomi. Rapporten danner grunnlaget for en ny modell for kostnadseffektiv e-læring som skal publiseres i slutten av 2006. This report looks at Cost Effectiveness and Cost Efficiency in E-learning, in the perspective of the student, the provider and the society. This project report is one of the results from the QUIS - Quality, Iteroperability and Standards in e-learning - project which is part of EUs - e-Learning Programme. The report is based on some of the project members world wide litterature studies on e-learning and economics. The report will be followed by a second report presenting a new model for cost effective e-learning in the perspective of the student, the provider and the society, by the end of yaer 2006.
